This website was mounted to coincide with the publication of This is My Country, What’s Yours? A Literary Atlas of Canada back in 2006. The idea was that anyone could create their own meanings — their own country — from the same material that I’d gathered, but also add to the tapestry from whatever part of Canada they were in. I still hope for something like this to happen for, as I write in the book, “Canada is a fiction, ours to invent.”
